Storage Specialist/Administration & Support - Holland - Dutch SpeakingOur client based near Amsterdam have a 3 month initial contact for a Storage Specialist - Administration & Support.
You will be required to support the Implementation and integration of existing and additional infrastructure components (Platform, TSM Server, SAN storage and tape libraries) of the backup infrastructure.
- Provide support for operational storage d2d activities
- Prepare and support changes in capacity and performance management.
- Where necessary, 3rd line support to incidents and problems related to the project.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise backup solutions and high-end storage systems.
- Oa TSM, TS3500, TS7650G, HDS USP/VSP series as a platform with IBM P-Series.
- Advanced knowledge of storage functionality & tools.
- Tivoli, Unix Scripting, Block based replication techniques.
- Knowledge of Storage Networking/SAN (including Brocade DCX series).
- Good knowledge platform and virtualization technology known today.
- VMWare, IBM Virtual IO Server, Solaris 10
