My client, a London based retail bank, is looking to recruit an Interim Business Analyst for their Common Reporting (COREP) team. The role holder will take the lead role in developing the Operating Model for the Group Finance Regulatory Reporting Team (and supporting development of Cluster Operating Models), reporting into the Group Finance COREP Project Manager.

The role holder will also provide input and support in respect of Governance and Control, and Business Readiness activities. In addition the role will require the successful candidate to:

Coordinating specialist inputs from subject matter experts.

Facilitating the development of a new Target Operating Model for the Reg Reporting department.

Challenge of stakeholders and facilitating agreement where stakeholders have differing views.

Documentation of the new operating model.

Process analysis, mapping, documentation.

Controls review and documentation.

Preparation of training materials.

Sundry ad hoc support and troubleshooting as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

A proven track record in delivering successful process re-engineering, change management, and completing business specifications to meet customer requirements.

Strong understanding of Governance and Control activities within financial reporting teams.

Familiarity with the working day reporting cycle concept which drives a Reg Reporting Dept.

IT technical skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Databases.

Experience in regulatory reporting.

A formal academic or professional qualification in Accountancy.

Training in a structured systems development and project management methodologies eg Prince 2, DSDM, Agile
