Description
Our client is the Pacific Northwest's signature software company seeking a Support Engineer to provide support for Identity and Access Management in IT. The team provides authentication, identity life cycle management, and directory services to both internal and external customers with the goal of ensuring reliability, privacy, regulatory compliance, and secure access. These services are delivered using technologies including Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Certificate Services, and Forefront Identity Manager.
This position will require support for the following specific Active Directory technologies:
- Constrained Delegation creation, modification and maintenance/troubleshooting
- User Account creation, modification and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Computer Account creation, modification and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Group Object creation, modification and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Organizational Unit creation, modification and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Elevated Access provisioning and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Group Policy Object creation, modification and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Forefront Identity Manager 2010 support/troubleshooting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years related experience required
- Solid understanding of standard computer science concepts required
- Knowledge of personal computers, relevant operating systems, applications, and/or languages required
- Knowledge of personal computer architecture and networking required
- Solid understanding of technical support issues required
- Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level
- Strong communication, problem solving and technical writing skills
- Excellent customer service and support skills required
- Programming and debugging skills preferred
- Associates degree in a technical field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Please note that this person will most likely be working in an off-site/remote location. This is a six month contract position with potential for extension.
