IT Senior Auditor
Scope of Project:
This project is a risk assessment of the redesign of the company's TEAMS (System
Development Life Cycle Methodology) to ensure adequate project management controls are in place.

Interprets and analyzes situations and information based on IIA concepts and general guidelines.
Requires in-depth analysis to develop solutions for complex problems.
In conjunction with Audit Project Manager determines and identifies potential risks and opportunities to the organization, and develops appropriate corrective action plans.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
Experience with or knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience with TeamMate electronic work papers.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
Contribute to the audit planning process; assist in the development of audit objectives and detailed test procedures that effectively address key controls and risks.
Plan and perform reviews of IT general and application controls. This includes supporting integrated audits and system implementation reviews.
Provide IT technical audit services and consulting relative to IT internal control practices for PC-Client, web and Legacy applications in distributed network and multi-platform environments (eg Mainframe and server-based operating systems, database management, and data and telecommunications network technologies).
Develop work papers that address the objectives of the audit program and support the conclusions reached during testing. Adhere to the IIA Standards and IAS guidelines for work paper documentation.
Assess business systems/processes to identify key control points and risks. Document using narrative and/or flowcharting techniques.
Draft audit conclusions, discuss potential issues with clients, and prepare and deliver other summary communication documents as required.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance information systems or related field.
Must be Certified as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of related IT auditing experience
