This large high profile Federal Government Department, urgently requires a Senior Project Manager to take a play an important part in the management and implementation of both application and infrastructure based projects. You will be involved in the facilitation of delivering multiple projects on time and within budget
To be considered for these roles you will have a combination of the following:
- Proven track record in the effective management and planning of large scale ICT Projects
- Strong experience in leading a team and providing technical support
- Sound client engagement skills including excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability and experience to make strategic decisions on a daily basis
- Experience and knowledge in recording and transferring knowledge
This successful applicant will be involved in, but not limited t
- Ensuring that cross project prioritisation, resourcing and costs and risks are clearly communicated and effectively managed
- Provide effective stakeholder and relationship management
- Align project with business priorities and systems
- Promote efficiency and reduce uncertainty in scheduling, financial management and team resourcing
- Coach and mentor staff
- Seek continuous improvement and consistent outcomes
This is an opportunity to get experience in a large government department. It is expected that you will utilise all of your experience and knowledge to make this role a success. On offer to the successful applicant will be a 12 month contract with 1 x 12month extension option available.
