We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Specialist. The Senior Systems Specialist will work effectively under minimal supervision; provide support for Oracle's Web-center, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Secure Enterprise search (SES), Oracle Internet Directory(OID) applications and Develop ADF webcenter pages. This specialist will support our business users, participate in all relevant changes management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will includes: installation, configuration and Administration for OAM/OID, SES and Web-center, assisting with Web-center architecture, supporting Web-center ADF development, interaction with core business users and working as a team member of a large oracle support team.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, configure, and implement applications, specific to Oracle Webcenter,
- Installation configure, and administration Oracle SES, and OAM and OID. This also includes executing migrations and ensuring integrations are functioning properly.
- Develop Webcenter ADF web-applications to support business user content and requirements.
- Troubleshoot defects and perform system analysis to provide a means for solving technical and business-related problems/challenges or implement code-based performance improvements.
- Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
- Advises management in the development of short/long-term information technology strategies from both a technical and/or business perspective.
- Prepares and present project reports for management, client, and others.
- Facilitate and coordinate end user acceptance testing, change management, issue management, problem escalation and resolution.
- Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
- Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
- Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (Internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster business expertise solutions.
- Willing to travel up to 10%.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is a plus, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or CIS.
- 2 to 4 years of experience supporting Oracle Web Center , SES , OID/OAM is required.
- 2 to 3 years of ADF development preferred.
- Oracle database and report programming experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problems solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-developer, team environment.
