Job Title: Corporate Credit Control

Location: Staffordshire

Term: 6 months

Job Description:

Our client a leading Communications company, are currently seeking several Corporate Credit Control Officer and must have a background in dealing large or corporate/commercial credit control.

The ideal candidate will have dealt with collections/outstanding payments on a corporate level and have the experience of dealing with Stakeholders/Directors/Senior Managers and have the autonomy of dealing on their level.

Responsibility:

Achieve financial measures to ensure bad debt is reduced to agreed targeted levels
Deliver on targets
Working as part of the virtual team to resolve account disputes in a timely manner to enable collection of overdue debt
Support and coach your peers
Be involved in team meetings and customer obsession call listening sessions
Work autonomously to manage daily workloads ensuring that all key customers and stakeholders are communicated to and debt ledger is worked in a timely and effective manner
Provide timely and suitable escalation where customers or Clients internal stakeholders do not adhere to agreed actions.
Identify process and contractual failures and drive solutions with customers where said failures lead to non payment

Essential Skills:

Drive a continuous improvement culture
Corporate/Commercial Credit control experience and knowledge
Risk management knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Excel usage
Relationship/Stakeholder Management
Commercial Collections experience
Confident to communicate openly to peers and leadership team
Motivate team and wider teams around you
Previous experience of delivering commercial credit and collections activity or delivering targets through a customer facing operation.
Excellent Team player and Networking skills
Relationship management and building skills.
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confident and willing to use own initiative
