SAP ABAP Developer

Large Consultancy Company, located in the central Sydney, is currently seeking an SAP ABAP Developer. Candidate is is responsible for the support, development and implementation across various modules. In addition to development, this role may also participate in other project activities including testing, documentation and user training. The developer must work independently or with project managers to define work tasks and provide estimates. He/She may be asked to serve as a mentor or information resource for the staff on technologies within their area of expertise.

This job requires a solid background and skill set in SAP technology solutions and experience in the successful design, delivery and support of SAP business applications. This role must keep current on SAP development trends, such as new technologies, development approaches, etc. Key modules and solutions used include SRM, SD, MM and PP.

Requirements

- Must have experience with and ability to use ABAP/ABAP Objects, Dialog programming, User-exits, BADI's, Smart Forms, ALV, RFCs and other SAP development tools.
. Experience with design and development of Workflow applications.
. Required to have worked in at least one of the key modules (SD, MM, PP, CRM, SRM)
. Must have experience and understanding of data flow and integration across modules.
. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Must be able to work individually or with a multi-disciplinary team.
. Must understand the software development life cycle and be able to perform systems analysis and design activities in accordance with development methodology.
. Prior Oracle development experience is a plus.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
