IP/MPLS Engineer - CCNP - Nigeria - Lagos - $300pd
My client is seeking an experienced IP/MPLS Engineer on a contract basis to perform systems administration duties on IP-MPLS NMS platforms, and ensure fault-free environment with highest reliability and availability to provide best quality of services for the customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with all Network Group Operations unit, Network Group Planning unit and IS to ensure proper fault management, configuration management, performance management, accounting management and security management are provided for on IP-MPLS Network elements on the network in line with the overall business objective.
* Interface with IP-MPLS NMS users/customers to resolve customer problems
* Develop and maintain scripts to increase the effectiveness of IP-MPLS NMS platforms
* Planning and organizations skills with customer-focused, teamwork, process-oriented and result-driven.
* Integration of all new network elements on the IP-MPLS NMS platforms
* Perform software update/upgrades on IP-MPLS NMS platforms
* Investigating, identifying and resolving issues of abnormal network conditions related to IP-MPLS NMS platforms
Key Skills
*Support, operational knowledge and troubleshooting of IP-MPLS NMS platforms (Netscout, EMC Smart, InfoVista, Ehealth, Cisco works, Cisco solution centre) in a GSM environment
*Unix System Administration skills
*Unix Shell or Perl Scripting skills
*Oracle Database/Sybase Database Administration skills
Unix/Oracle/Sybase/CCNP Certification would be highly beneficial.
