For our client in The Hague (the netherlands) we are looking for consultancy service from an Integration Architect, for driving the acquisition of an Integration Platform and the implementation of governance and standards for supporting the overall strategy of application integration.
start for at least 3 months, option for extensions!
Main Deliverables
The services of an integration architect are required for producing the following deliverables:
preparation of the integration platform requirements (functional/non-functional)
drive technology selection for integration platform
definition of the governance of the integration platform (ownership, processes, etc..)
definition of the integration service standards
an implementable solution architecture and design for the integration platform and services
Requirements
Candidates for this service should have the following skills, background and experiences:
10+ years of experience.
Has contributed to the creation of technology-related best practices and processes.
Has consulted on the technical design of high-impact, multi-technology complexm applications, and mentored technology staff in the application of newer technologies.
Has played a leading role in the development and implementation of technical standards and platforms.
Has experience with multiple technologies in gathering, analysing, and meeting business requirements.
Strong experience with Middleware applications within a large scale environment.
Has in-depth expertise with these technologies: Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, Application Integration Protocols, Application Frameworks, Windows and Linux environments.~
Experience with the following integration capabilities:
- traffic management (throttling, quotas, rate-limiting)
- performance monitoring
- security integration and audit
Strong technical background in APIs - especially RESTful web services
Has in-depth experience in both development and operational activities, fully understanding the current and future deployment environment(s)
Ability to clearly detach platform/service delivery from implementation details
Deep understanding of architectural principles, and how these apply to the delivery of architectural assets in the wider context of the enterprise.
Has in-depth experience in working in a wide variety of technical environments
Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with teams in the test, support, design and business arenas.
Strong architecture collaboration with enterprise architects and project architects
Understanding of project management principles.
Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English eg has experience with writing white papers, business cases or value propositions and presenting them to executive panels
