A key client based in Essex is looking for an electronics/electrical designer with CAN skills. This will be for an initial 12 month project.

Role:
1. Responsible for part or all electrical circuit design of audio products, typically working under direction of a senior electronics engineer.
2. Design and develop circuit design from breadboard to printed circuit layout using schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
3. Work closely with the radio Manufacturing Plant following the product through the prototype builds and production launch.
4. Ensure all aspects of the design support the vehicle environmental and EMC requirements.
5. Maintain a detailed parts list and produce the cost status.
7. Conduct lab testing using a wide range of test equipment, including CAN network tools (eg CANalyser, CANOE), logic analysers, oscilloscopes, data loggers, and various measuring devices.
Skills:
*Competent Analogue electrical circuit design experience.
*Design & development exp of circuit design breadboard - circuit layout.
*Experience of schematic capture & circuit simulation.
*Design & Development of circuit from breadboard to circuit layout.
*Reasonable understanding of all aspects of design support for required environmental and EMC requirements.
*Experience of laboratory testing inc CAN network tools, logic analysers oscilloscope.
*A structured design approach. ie Worst Case Analysis, simulation tools.
*Schematic capture and simulation tool skills.
