SAP Workflow config consultant - 6months + - Brussels
The main objective of the projects within this Ordering Envelope is to reduce the actual manual workload by automating manual process steps via the SAP Workflow. The scope of these projects is covering both the execution in the Back Office of a workflow, as the implementation and maintenance of new and existing workflows.
For the re-writing process a predefined set of rules will be followed. Within these terms of reference the overall planning based on a priority list and the process to rewrite each workflow will be described.
For each type of workflow a team will be created under the management of an Ordering and Provisioning Analyst. Each team will consist of an End-to-End Ordering Specialist, a business contact (product owner), a tester and an IT developer.
The main milestones in the process are:
a. A study on the as-is situation
b. A consolidation of all change requests, issues and if applicable new business requirements (Customer Requirement Specifications)
c. Planning of a workshop to consolidate all the requirements and to define the high-level 'TO BE' process and the planning of the introduction of this new workflow
d. The writing of the new process
e. Definition of workflow diagram in Microsoft VISIO to prepare the Workflow Configuration Management
f. The configuration of the new Workflow
g. The testing of the workflow - technical
h. User Acceptance Testing.
Based on process document and defined workflow diagram in MS Visio, the Consultant will be primarily involved in the configuration of the workflow. Depending on the skills and capabilities of the Consultant, the responsibilities might be enlarged. A solid understanding of SAP Workflow interface in terms of Business Objects and their methods is a must.
We are looking for a hands-on experienced Workflow configuration analyst, capable of understanding VISIO Workflows and capable to configure these Workflows with the Workflow Builder. The Consultant must have at least 3-5 years of experience of building complex workflows.

More particularly, the job will involve:
- Reviewing and modifying the organizational structure of our SAP Workflow environment.
- Modifying tasks routing based on a new organizational structure
- Customizing the system to maintain existing, potentially complex workflows
- Discuss business requirements with users and translate these into workflow changes
- Work with our team of experts to analyze current versus best practices in view of recommending improvements
Skills required:
- Business Process Analysis
- Workflow skills in configuration, design and implementation, supporting a variety of Workflow tasks and development in conjunction with the SAP environment ECC 6.0
- A strong knowledge in Workflow programming and customizing is desired, as well as a good understanding of business processes in various SAP modules.
- Basic MS Visio knowledge
- Team player
- Good knowledge of English
- ABAP knowledge is an asset
