Position: Web Developer
Location: Brussels
Contract: 6 months with possible extension

My client is a superb, dynamic and fast paced leading Digital agency with a superb client base. Reporting directly to the Development Manager you will be required to develop & manage new and existing web applications, static and dynamic, as well as adding and extending functionality of existing websites, often working on several projects at one time.
Other responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- To design and create Back End databases as well as updating existing ones
- Define and program stored procedures
- Define and program the Business layer classes and components that interact with the database layer
- Define and program Front End ASP.NET pages
- Work with designs supplied by designers and apply them to the HTML and CSS and general bug fixing.
It is essential that you have solid, relevant commercial experience developing with .Net, Visual Studio 2005, C# and SQL Server experience is also required. E-commerce experience is highly advantageous but not essential! Hand coding experience of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is highly beneficial. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are of paramount importance. My client is looking for someone who is self motivated, eager to learn and keen to progress his or her career within the business. They must be happy to help with all elements of the work including willingness to do some data entry and to work late on occasions (when/where called for)
