GREAT opportunity to join a leading company in the automotive industry in an Oracle EBS Support role to provide support during a new Oracle Financial systems roll out and ramp-up!

Job Description:
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to Oracle EBS version 12.1.3 end users.
  • Incident Management.
  • Performance monitoring and status reporting.
  • Job scheduling and monitoring.
  • Error handling.
  • Perform QA testing of minor enhancements.
  • Production control, scheduling and backups.
  • Effectively work with managed services support provider, application development team and project team as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • IT and/or Accounting undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems.
  • Experience with Oracle On Demand (OOD) model.
  • 2 to 5 years Oracle EBS experience with functional skills for the following modules:
    • Project Costing.
    • Fixed Assets.
    • General Ledger.
    • Payables.
    • Cash Management.
    • Purchasing.
    • iProcurement.
    • iExpense.
    • iSupplier.
    • GRC (nice to have).
    • Revenue Management & Billing (nice to have).
    • RMB Payments (nice to have).
    • RMB Collections (nice to have).
    • Reporting (nice to have).
  • Soft technical skills experience with Oracle EBS (ex. Toad, SQL Developer).
  • Minimum of 2 Oracle full life cycle implementations.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year prior experience in production support environment.
  • Troubleshooting and analytical, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Application configuration experience.
  • Experience documenting support processes and procedures.
  • GL FSG report writing and maintenance.
  • Ability to simulate production support issues in a non-production environment and QA/test the resolution with business user before migrating changes to production.
  • Ability to address error handling on scheduled jobs and carry out corrective actions to reinstate schedule, using Oracle Concurrent Manager.
  • EBS application development skills in the following tools to facilitate diagnosis and problem solving of custom reports, interfaces and extensions: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle BI/XML Publisher, Oracle Developer Suite 10g. (nice to have).
