The Campaign Measurement and Performance Manager will support the enablement of marketing campaigns to enable campaign performance reporting. This role provides consultation at all phases of campaign setup process through collaborating with marketers, agencies, developers and tagging service centers. The CMP Manager also creates campaign reports to deliver insights into the campaign's performance to drive campaign optimization and best practices. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong technical background, solid consulting skills, and will be proactive and work well in both team and individual situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with subsidiary marketers and agencies in campaign planning to determine upfront marketing approach, project planning and scheduling, and ensure delivery to the campaign objectives throughout the campaign execution
  • Engage the campaign team in an execution kickoff meeting and outline the marketing activities, tactics and reporting plan
  • Provide consultation and analysis across GMO tools and services to promote campaign execution best practices within the subsidiary
  • Establish a communications plan to deliver consistent messaging regarding campaign status throughout the process
  • Coordinate Marketing Service Center and Tagging Service Center execution of all campaign setup activities and report on activity status to ensure SLAs are met and to assist in prioritization of requests to help drive high client satisfaction on executed campaigns
  • Deliver standard reporting to show trends in campaign data and to optimize opportunities
  • Facilitate weekly campaign progress reviews with subsidiary FDL, CMG, and agencies and participate in subsidiary and campaign v-teams
  • Provide consultative review of campaign performance results in coordination with the agency based on marketer reporting asks
  • Identify global best practices through CMP community calls
  • Own and manage Tagging Setup, and Performance Analysis and Insights
  • Develop tagging maps/schema; identify tracking methodology and tagging strategy, tools relevance, metrics and reporting deliverables
  • Define key tactic components (audience, creative treatments, offers, CTAs,) establish desired tactic objective, test scenarios, hypothesis and test matrixes
  • Identify desired learning for the campaign and establish data set-up/tagging to achieve those insights
  • Manage setup and QA to assure accurate code and tag Matrix creation and implementation
  • Provide an integrated campaign analysis that determines measured KPIs and benchmarks for each campaign element, identifies and highlights impact most important drivers for statistically significant differences, and develop recommendations for optimization

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in database marketing best practices/competencies to include e-mail, direct mail and telemarketing
  • Solid understanding of the direct marketing project process flow and execution a must to ensure the ability to successfully measure and report on detailed complex database marketing projects
  • Ability to multi-task multiple execution team deliverables and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, consistent follow through, project management, communication (oral, written and interpersonal)
  • Strong skills using tools (in-house campaign tracking and reporting tool) and PC based applications (specifically Outlook and Excel) a must
  • HTML e-mail skills and/or experience working with international/localized content a big plus
  • Paid media trafficking and Atlas Media Console experience a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in a database marketing execution/execution management preferred
  • Experience utilizing list pull tools (eg Epiphany, Unica, etc.) and email delivery tools preferred
  • BS/BA required; MBA a plus
