Description
Our client is implementing a global SAP ERP solution to consolidate processes, systems and data currently held across multiple systems. The role of the SAP Business Analyst will involve the analysis and documentation of existing processes and data structures and assistance in the SAP blueprint (design) phase through to final testing and implementation of the final solution.
The ideal candidate should be able to engage with multiple levels within business and IT ranging from executive through analyst, and should have a strong technical background ideally including experience with SAP. The following modules are being implemented - PS, PPM, HR, ESS and BI, and the solution will be interfaced to an existing SAP Business One system for Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Active participant in roll-out of SAP - from design, testing and implementation to go-live.
- Gain an understanding of the industry and business requirements
- Analysis and documentation of As Is existing processes and systems.
- Analysis and documentation of To Be processes.
- Assist SAP implementation partner in the mapping of existing systems/processes to SAP - input into design workshops
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent (IT)
- Project Management or Business Analysis Certification beneficial
- Min 6 years solid Business Analysis Experience
SKILLS
- You must have working on an SAP ERP implementation.
- Experienced in one or more of the following SAP modules: PS, PPM, HR, ESS, BI. (HR & ESS experience preferred)
- Process creation, review and implementation
- Excellent MS Office skills including Excel & Visio
- Strong technical writing ability
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into functional requirements
- Strong technical background
- High tolerance for fast pace and change. Good verbal/written communication skills
