Description

- Provide technical assistance to Instrument personnel as required. This will include developing the knowledge and skills of the Instrument personnel, including mentoring.
- Ensure as far as practically possible all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
- Be conversant and knowledgeable with respect to current and new legislation and standards eg, BS, API and Client codes and standards, DCR and HS&E Regulations and EU Directives
- Prepare engineering and construction scope for both man- hours and equipment estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules. 
- Ensure that results of any development work are fully utilised in Instrument activities
- Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required
- Providing documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and design books on time to meet offshore deadlines
- Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
- Participate as necessary in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required
- Assist the Lead Instrument Engineer when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties
- Field Instrumentation - Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level, Pneumatics etc
- Wellhead Control Panels/Hydraulic Power Units ( WHCP/HPU )
- Instrumentation/Equipment for use in Hazardous Areas.
- Control Valves, Shutdown Valves, Choke Valves and PSV`s
- Diverse Protection Systems - HIPPS, IOPPS etc
- Emergency/Process Shutdown ( ESD/PSD ) Systems
- Fire and Gas ( F & G ) Systems
- Process/Distributed Control Systems ( PCS/DCS )
* Sub- Sea Control Systems ( SSCS )
- Programmable Logic Controllers ( PLC )
- Metering Systems
- Package Vendor Interface Management
- BOSIET/FOET Offshore Survival Certificate and Medical required
