My client a leading global brand is looking for a Procurement Consultant/Buyer Consultant to work in a structure environment, while being energetic and highly result oriented as well as being professional. You will provide corporate governance and oversight to commercial agreements, vendor management and all aspects of suppliers relationships and to provide commercial gravitas, strong negation, support a wide range of spend categories across the business, both UK and International/
You will be involved in the day- to-day management of multiple supplier relationships, including contract negotiations and reviewing operational terms & conditions and issue management and resolution and to develop improved logistics and process from initial request for quotations being requested through to delivery and commissioning. You will be the supplier negotiation processes within the £20-£100k spend category and work in the production of Management and Information and presentation of key metrics within the Procurement within in organisation
As the Procurement Consultant you will be supporting the Technology Procurement Specialist with ad hoc projects and you will need to have a proven track record in the successful delivery of a technology sourcing function within a global in a complex organisation and have a strong understanding of the technology market places, they will have experience in working with key, global technology vendors and other third party suppliers.
As the Procurement Consultant you will be an effective team player with excellent communication skills, along with the ability to motivate, influence and negotiate and the ability to work with minimal supervision but engage effectively with a wider team and demonstrate track record of effective negotiation and sustainable procurement and have a full understanding of RFI/RFP and ITT process and a good knowledge of SLA's, KPI's and used to working under pressure with tight deadlines.
