They will be offering oversight support, assisting JV team in India with Recon activities. All of the production work for the IMS Recons is completed in India, we have a small team in London of 6 or 7 supporting and monitoring approximately 120 offshore.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of the operation and processing of all market instruments.
  • A minimum of five years experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally including some experience within a reconciliation area.
  • Formal qualifications (eg Securities Institute) are desirable.
  • Person must be proactive, a good communicator and able to work effectively with offshore teams.
  • Proactive person who can work on their own initiative is the key, there is no daily processing or set tasks here, its all support, process enhancements and overview.

Additional Job Details:
To assist in the supervision of overseas operations providing support where necessary and also ensuring clear communication between all parties and appropriate levels of escalation. The role is working within a small team in the London Office providing vital assistance and monitoring of the operations in India. Being a key contact point for the operational teams, clients, custodians and management alike. Excellent communication skills are required, the successful candidate must also have high levels of personal motivation with an ability to proactively manage queries and issues whilst ensuring deadlines are met. To ensure timely delivery of all client deliverables in accordance with agreed KPI's and timeframes. To record, review and clear any overdraft positions within the client's custody accounts. Monitoring of outstanding reconciliation breaks to ensure targets are met and identify any potential issues are prevented these occurring where possible. Reviewing correspondence, queries and training levels to make sure we have the appropriate levels of experience in key areas. Managing change for the team; technology, procedures, additional functions etc. Working with the team to increase their confidence and skills and working with other teams to help the integration.
