Product Verification Analyst (QTP Tester)
Selected candidate will create and execute automated tests utilizing Quick Test Professional (QTP) and other automated test tools. This candidate will also assist in the creation and maintenance of an automated testing framework. They will work close with developers and other testers to ensure scripts are easily maintained and provide the correct level of test coverage. They review application code and enforce coding standards.
QTP is required to support Web Based Applications experience using QTP to automate testing for web apps.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Use standard test procedures and build reusable test automation.
- Collaborate with all team members to ensure integrality and understanding of tests, results, and reasons for executing them
- Quantify goals & objectives of each test
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts within
- Create and follow automation standards/framework procedures
- Prepare Automation Test plan and metrics and review with managers and project team
- Assist in preparing the Automation Plan and design tests
- Assist as needed to install and prepare automation tools such as QTP and Blue Test
- Review, execute and validate automated tests, test data, and results
- Analyze data, Consolidate and publish results
- Pair with developers & architects on early automation tasks
- Work within the constraints of the schedule
- Provide PV Lead/MGR with approved project or task level estimates, assumptions, and risks
- Complete project status report(s) and provide input on the Project Dashboard
- Review deliverables and organize tests for easy use
