Description
Erlang Development Engineer
Flint are seeking an experienced Erlang development engineer for a 6 month rolling contract based in UK, to develop applications and features on an existing service platform.
Skills and experience required:
Required
- Experience with Property based testing a plus
- Familiarity with 3GPP protocols a plus
- 5 years experienced in the use of the Erlang Open Telecoms Platform for the delivery of complex systems
- About three years demonstrable software development and implementation experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of Erlang programming which will be tested.
- Good verbal and written communication in English
- Good customer facing and presentation skills.
Optional
- Experience with languages such as C and Java
- Experience of a Mobile telecommunications packet core environment
- Knowledge of Distributed Computing, in a multicore environment
- Track record of being able to achieve project milestones and complete tasks.
- Experience of implementation of soft Real Time Servers
- Experience with interconnection protocols (HTTP, XMPP, SMPP, ...)
- Experience with Agile Methods, including Test Driven Development
- Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team to meet the needs of the project.
