Description
Our client is the Pacific Northwest's signature software corporation seeking an STE for a great contract opportunity on a dynamic team that tests multiple clients on multiple platforms.
We are looking for an experienced Software Tester capable of owning test areas and taking responsibility primarily for manual testing and reporting the status of those areas to the test and production teams. We need someone that can proactively find and investigate root cause issues.
OVERVIEW:
- Owning multiple test areas
- Writing test plans and test cases for assigned areas
- Working with a manual test team to ensure that cases are being run
- Writing bugs and reporting and investigating issues to communicate with the production team
- Reporting test results on assigned areas/clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with testing web applications or websites
- Basic Scripting skills (PowerShell, batch files, etc.)
- Some technical understanding of web technologies
- Experience with Visual Studio, TFS, Test Manager, and/or Fiddler web debugger preferred
This contract position is expected to be 1 year in duration.
