Description
My clients requires a high quality Telecom PBX/IPTEL Engineer. The Telecom Data Network Engineer will design, troubleshoot and maintain quality data networks for their customers. A qualified candidate will possess comprehensive and proven network design skills in IP data and voice systems.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have experience, knowledge and able to install, program, troubleshoot PBX phone systems: ESI, AVAYA and/or Mitel Phone systems-Experience with LAN and WAN networking
- Experience with routed networks and protocols
- Experience with networking equipment, such as Routers and Switches -Microsoft Certification highly desirable but is not required
- must be able to obtain certification
- Understanding of Exchange and Active Directory
- Device experience; Routers, Servers, Firewalls and Switches -Development and analysis of network documentation and configurations -Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal -Good team work and customer service skills required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with Servers, storage devices in a cross platform environment
