A Global software provider to the Banking and Financial Services industry is currently in search of a Financial Product Specialist to join their team in Sydney. This blue chip, multinational brand is looking to capture the market growth and in turn, assign client management and sales management responsibilities to the product specialist. As the product specialist, you will liaise with the sales team to provide pro-active account management to maximize income opportunities from existing customers, and to ensure that customers are kept up-to-date with latest product innovations and new services.

This is a key role where the duties will include:

  • Support the sales cycle using the consultative approach - from creation of customer needs, requirements gathering, solution development and resolution of concerns
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relations at all accounts
  • Provide management with regular detailed information on customer needs, market trends, competitors' activity, pricing and new business opportunities
  • Coordinate and host sponsored events, trade shows and industry professional activities and associations
  • Prepared to travel to client locations within South East Asia and India.

To be considered, we will require the following background:

  • At least 2 years minimum Pre-Sales, Relationship Management & Customer Service experience serving the Financial Services technology community, if possible in the Market Data area
  • Energetic self-starter - the role requires a pro-active individual capable of working independently on new opportunities
  • Strong listening, questioning, positioning and presentation skills - the role requires an individual that has strong communication and client facing skills and who is very comfortable of operating in front of a large audience
  • Strong Presentation, organizational, inter-personal and written communication

This is a key position within a team that values and rewards achievements. This rare opportunity within a global giant is based in the Sydney CBD and would suit someone who is keen to develop strong stakeholder relationships in order to maximise sales. The remuneration on offer is circa $80K + Super.
