Description
Our client a successful Manufacturing company based in Oxfordshire is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager for the UK/ROI. This role is a 10 month maternity cover contract and is offering a rate of £125 per day.
The position involves covering maternity leave for 10 months to help achieve the company's ambitious sales and marketing plan for 2012 and 2013.
The role is a senior position within the organisation and forms part of the UK/ROI Management Team but also involves general administration and day to day marketing activity.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
Development of the business marketing strategy 2013.
Responsibility for annual marketing and sample budget, raise purchase orders and monitor invoices.
Campaign monitoring and evaluation.
Participation in monthly management meetings with the Sales & Marketing Director, Financial Controller, Sales Manager and Technical Manager.
Corporate Communications
Working closely with Central Marketing to ensure all messages are aligned and the Company corporate identity and branding guidelines are adhered to.
Management of the company's Circles of Architects.
Occasional travel to Holland to attend international marketing meetings.

Chair monthly PR update meetings.
Proofread press releases, articles and features.
Management of relationships with industry bodies (AIA, RIBA and UKGBC).
Marketing Collateral
Responsibility for all marketing collateral and iPad content.
Management of the Desso image database.
Customer communication - respond to requests for logos, imagery and information.
Events, Exhibitions & Corporate Entertainment
Oversee planning and execution of customer events, seminars and speaking engagements.
London showroom schedule of events, including Clerkenwell Design Week - occasional travel to London.
Digital
Email marketing campaign - DotMailer
Product
Ongoing analysis of the product portfolio.
Market and competitor research and analysis.
