Senior Credit Risk Analyst - SAS
x 2 Senior Credit Risk Analysts to join a leading Financial Services organisation based in the Midlands on a six month (min) contract. If you are an experienced Credit Risk Analyst with strong SAS and SQL expertise we'd be keen to hear from you.
As Senior Credit Risk Analyst - SAS you will:
- Rule performance management for financial crime detection tools ensuring optimal False: Positives are set and achieved.
- Produce MI and Analytics on behalf of the Financial Crime Unit, ensuring consistent MI is prepared and presented
- Create and implement monitoring to prevent and detect fraud, responding to emerging trends and atta ck. Identify, monitor, escalate and respond to emerging fraud trends in MO, attack profile, customer profile
- Meet fraud loss reduction targets through appropriate rule analysis, implementation and suggestions for process improvement. Focus on proactive Detection and remove unnecessary parts of processes
- Liaise with specific key areas of the bank including Group Fraud, Decision Science and UK Fraud Analytics
- Regular stakeholder engagement to communicate toolkit performance and benefits
- Development and analysis of appropriate monitoring MI ensuring key trends are actioned as appropriate
- Perform ad-hoc analysis using complex statistical tools such as SAS, BIW for key stakeholders, making relevant and informed business change recommendations
- Synthesise analysis results to inform business issues
