SAP BW/BO Senior Consultant - Profile description
Experience & expertise
Required:
- Expertise in BW 7.01 SP1
- Expertise in BEX 7.X
- Good knowledge of SAP - PM (Functional location, Equipment, work order,
- maintenance plan, task list, etc.)
- Knowledge of BW integration kit to BO
Being a significant plus:
- Kownledge of BO universe design based on query
- Knowledge of WEBI
Responsibilities
SAP BW/BO Senior Consultant
- Mapped business information requirements to ECC6
- Build extractor to replicate information in BW
- Design infoObject: multiprovider cubes
- Develop queries type OLAP using BEX
- Testing
- Create process chain
Communication Skills
SAP BW/BO Senior Consultant
- Ability to communicate with business analysts for understanding the specifications and designs that form the basis for implementation
- Ability to communicate with technical architect to understand the constraints of the architecture that must be followed
- Team player
- Ideally bilingual (FR/NL) but an active knowledge of one of the language and a passive knowledge of the other will suffice.
- A good understanding of written English is necessary
Personal Skills
SAP BW/BO Senior Consultant
- Ability to work relatively independently following the priorities and timing of the project plan
- Ability to work structured following the procedures of the project (check-in, check-out, time sheet reporting, punctuality)
- Ability to work according to rules, standards and guidelines defined in the architecture
- Ability to communicate realistic predictions about the development work
Typically these people have at least 10 years of experience in SAP-BW environment
