Description
Windows Engineer - Our client, a leading financial organisation is looking for a Windows Engineer for a six month contract. Working at the client's head office in Brussels, you will assist the Windows team on general delivery service tasks due to overload of work for the team. As Windows Engineer you will work in a team of 20 so strong team working skills are vital. Day to day tasks include routing and installing Servers, also phasing out Servers.
Other tasks of Windows Engineer will be anti-virus management. The client's infrastructure is complex so the successful candidate must have common sense to hand over responsibility to other members of team where necessary and highlight when they need assistance to ensure no mistakes are made. You will need experience in a structured environment and must be able to hit the ground running. This position will be ideal for someone with junior to mid level experience looking to branch out to a large financial organisation.
Windows Engineer skills required:
- Experience routing, installing and phasing out Servers
- Strong team working skills
- Happy to work on lower level tasks and help out other team members where needed
- Knowledge on backups, anti-virus, network and storage basics
- Experience with Windows 2000, 2003, 2008
