Oracle DBA (RAC) - Amsterdam, NL
Skills and experience:
Extensive knowledge of Oracle version 9i, 10g and 11g
Experience with physical installation of Oracle databases/hosting environments
Experience in migrating large amount of data between databases
Experience with performance and tuning of Oracle databases
Experience in advising application developers
Knowledge of logical and physical Datamodelling
Experience with working in a DataWareHouse environment
Experience with all security aspects in Oracle
Can work on own within a project environment
minimum 5 years Oracle
Certified as Oracle OCP
Experience with Oracle RAC is a plus
Experience with working in large complex environments
Be a good team player
Additional experience in maintaining SQL Server is welcome
Description of work:
Project member migration projects
Project member implementing new projects
Maintain (3nd line incident handling and tuning) Oracle DB (9i/10g) AIX
Deliver Oracle performance and tuning support to the customer
