WebSphere Infrastructure Specialist - Amsterdam, NL

Skills and experience:

At least four years demonstrable experience within a comparable function as WebSphere engineer
Demonstrable experience in project participation as WebSphere engineer in migrations
ITIL usage and process support.
Experience within a complex maintenance organization, preferably in Finance industry
teamplayer
proactive - take initiative
able to communicate with colleagues as well as customer
be able to set priorities

Description of work:

Manage WebSphere Infrastructure
- Participate in projects as the lead WebSphere engineer
- Participate in change management process.
- Secure continuity of the WebSphere infrastructure.
- Implement changes via RFC's with regards to infrastructure.
- Implement changes via RFC's with regards to applications.
- Perform analyses of production-activities, using available means for monitoring and registration.
- Report disruptions on equipment, software and/or process, as part of information systems in a proactive manner.
- Perform tuning work.
- Solve disruptions within agreed timeframes and communicate with other teams where required.
- Perform ITIL processes
- Take measures to control incident and problem process.
- Execute acceptance testing, both new and changed components.
- Maintain and perform production acceptance criteria.
- Prepared to participate in a stand by schedule outside office hours if needed.
