Description
Our client, located in Indianapolis, IN is looking for an Informatica Developer for a 6 month contract. This position will report to the Business Intelligence Manager. The Senior Informatica Developer will share in responsibilities for development standards and quality for the BI environment. This role will participate within a strong team environment to design and develop data extractions, transformations, and loads for and Enterprise BI Team. The primary development role will be within Informatica. Experience working in an environment that runs Cognos Powerplay, ReportNet, Framework Manager is helpful.
Required Skills:
- Must have minimum 5 years in ETL Development role using the Informatica ETL product, version 8.61
- Must have strong verbal and written communication
- Must have previous experience working in an enterprise BI team
- Ideal candidate would have experience with Oracle 11i and SQL databases/datawarehouses
- Must be able to write SQL queries
- Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Must have leadership skills including the ability to mentor others
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Desired Skills:
- Ideal candidate would have experience with Cognos or any other comparable OLAP tool
- Experience doing design and architecture within Informatica
- Experience with Datamodeling is a plus
- Experience with Business Objects and/or Hyperion a plus
- Experience administering/supporting Informatica is a plus
