Description
We have an immediate start Project Management position for one of our clients based in Central London (Waterloo area).
The position is to work as a 'back up' PM on a LEP working in Tandem with the General Manager of the LEP and the Site & Construction Project Managers. It will require an experienced PM, with a knowledge of the Education sector and a background in Construction.
The LEP is on critical path in it's delivery of several major new schools and refurbs. The role will involve both office based administration and site visits, providing back up to the GM and Construction PM in particular.
We need a team player as the unit operates in a cohesive way, covering for one another; you may be required to attend countdown meetings, snag meetings with the schools and the constructor, who is also a partner in the LEP.
You will be a figurehead of the LEP, escalating issues where appropriate, and dealing with matters where you can.
Experience of working with Local Authorities is important.
