Role & Responsibilities:

The role of the Quality Specialist/Controller is to manage the Quality of a large number of work-at-home contractors, who work on projects related to Internet Search Quality.
The Quality Specialist/Controller will be required to analyse the quality performance of these contractors against agreed quality metrics, using a variety of tools and applications, especially complex data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
When Quality issues are encountered, the Quality Specialist/Controller will be required to provide educational support and direct engagement with the Contractors to improve quality, using technologies such as Online Video Production, Webinar hosting and eLearning.
Quality Specialists/Controllers will be required to conduct Root cause Analysis of quality issues on an on-going basis, and to recommend continuous improvement actions.
The role will require a high degree of confidence and experience using Internet based technologies for data analysis and online research.

Requirements:

3rd Level Qualification essential (preferably Business/Technology related).
Must have at least 3 years Post Qualification, relevant industry experience.
Must have strong Microsoft Office skills.
Must be proficient to a high level in Excel and PowerPoint in particular.
Quality background preferred (2-3 years in a Multinational work environment).
Practical experience with SQL an advantage.
Must have a working knowledge of social media and Internet technologies.
Working knowledge/experience of SharePoint a distinct advantage.
Practical experience of content authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate a distinct advantage.
Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
Time management skills essential
The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, with the ability to read and understand complex guidelines, and to apply those guidelines to user behaviour.
