Media Insight Consultant/Media Planning/St Albans-London Victoria/5 month/Contract/pd

Our client is a major broadcasting company seeking a Media Insight Consultant based in St Albans & London Victoria for a contract running until the end of the year offering £300 - £400 per day.

They are looking for a Media Insight Consultant to be responsible for enabling clients to maximising the power of the company's data through media planning and optimisation services.

You will also enable the creation and promotion of consumer behavioural insight understanding and measurement in order to enable key predictions and decisions to take place for clients using this data.

To be successful in this role, you must be a visionary with excellent strategic and relationship management skills and proven delivery experience as well as possessing sound consumer insight and media optimisation experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping and executing cutting edge media planning and optimisation services for the company's clients (agency, advertiser and broadcasters)
  • Effectively collaborate in the creation of strategic insight, ensuring that all leads to conclusive and actionable insight brought into by the requisite stakeholders
  • Shape internal change data, software and service roadmaps to maximise client and opportunities in the media marketplace
  • Maintain and grow strategic client relationships within advertisers, agencies and broadcasters
  • Drive and support optimal use of resources including insight analysts, reporting and decision management to deliver actionable insight to meet business demands.
  • Use personal and professional networks to seek out information of strategic importance to the business
  • Challenging client views where appropriate in an assertive and constructive manner
  • Confront difficult situations, acting calmly and with conviction
  • Identify and support upsell of services into clients

For the role, we would be looking for you to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent experience in media planning and optimisation majoring in TV and online media
  • Good consumer behavioural insight skills, including demonstrable ability to identify and exploit consumer behavioural drivers.
  • Sound commercial and operational understanding of enterprise-level consumer organisations, including marketing, sales, consumer operations and finance.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical & problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the confidence to interact at all levels of the organization
  • The ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience
  • Personal drive with a sense of urgency
  • Superior ability to drive multiple projects and adapt to a fast changing environment
  • Experience of delivering across functional teams within a large organisation.
  • Engagement in strategic decisions requiring board level sign-off
  • Evidence of delivery in high pressure environments
  • Professional self-presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong business analysis skills - including negotiation and influencing
  • A strong commercial focus with the ability to quantify and realise the potential of insight investments
