IBM Enterprise Service Bus v7 Expert Technical Services

Scope of Works The Scope of work includes any and all phases below for the projects listed in the deliverables section.

Requirements Phase:

1. Work with the BA team to review the Business Requirements Documentation for the project.
2. High Level Estimation (+-30%) of the project based on the High Level Requirements Documentation. This is typically provided in a standard excel based spreadsheet itemising as much as possible by use case each module being implemented.

Design Phase:

3. The Work during the high level design includes assisting in the finalization of High Level Software Design Specification document through clarifications and reviews, and receiving a full handover of the scope and requirements for the projects listed below. Enterprise Architect and Microsoft Visio are used to produce the Architectural design.
4. The work in the detailed design phase is preparing detailed design specifications for the scope finalized in the SDS. This includes prototyping any design issues that arise during detailed design phase and proving a solution to work, then capturing the design in the detailed sections of the SDS.

Development Phase:

5. The Work during the development phase includes developing IBM Webpshere based SOA/JEE/J2SE based applications including use of standard open source frameworks such as spring, hibernate, commons etc.
6. Building and running Unit Tests for all modules to ensure quality code is written using junit for code related tests and selenium for browser based tests.
7. Working with existing simulators to mimic expected behaviour where integration testing before the integration phase is necessary.

Integration Phase:

8. Extended Unit Testing with DRIVES integration is required to ensure system end to end is achieved.
9. Demo/Handover to QC is required to ensure QC are delivered a quality product and can start testing as soon as the handover is completed.
10. Writing a Bill of Materials (BOM) or Application Release Briefcase (ARB) to inform operational staff how to release the application to the testing environments.

Testing Phase:

11. Assisting QC with testing the application.
12. Bug analysis and fixing.
13. Deployments and updates to the ARB.

Implementation Phase:

14. Writing an Operational Support Manual to allow operational teams to deploy the application into production and support all operations the application provides. This includes but is not limited detailed description of the required resources, interfaces, remote connectivity, and any troubleshooting required for operational staff to identify known issues.

Warranty Phase:

15. Support for the application throughout the warranty period.

Maintenance Phase:

16. Assisting QC with testing the application.
17. Bug analysis and fixing.

Deployments and updates to the ARB.
