Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst/Business Process Analyst/Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a major UK retail bank. The successful candidate will be involved with a major regulatory reporting systems transformation towards a group-level SAP based general ledger.
As such, the successful candidate will be expected to have strong systems, general ledger and regulatory reporting/COREP/Basel 2 knowledge. You will also be expected to be willing to expand your knowledge of Basel 2 and regulatory reporting systems.
Prior systems/balance sheet reconciliation and transformation experience is preferred, as is a strong grounding in regulatory reporting and retail banking.
Essential experience:
- Strong systems skills (familiarity with large databases/ledger systems)
- Highly numerate
- Experience in reporting process design and improvement
- knowledge of Retail Banking Finance functions
- Accounting and GL/General ledger knowledge
- SAP experience
- Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Technical educational or vocational background
