Front End Web developer PHP/Java (Online banking)
For one of our client, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative mind to develop public banking site applications.
The work consists of implementing various requirements coming from the marketing (eChannels) team, mostly impacting the public facing website (but also Online Banking is in scope). These requests may vary from writing a simple JQuery plug in to implementing a web application with a database behind (following best practices in terms of user experience).
Additionally, the consultant will also act as a technical person during analysis, design and implementation of marketing requests related to Online Banking.
He/she is able to translate business requirements into concrete workable technical solutions, taking into account timing and budget. Developments for Online Banking take place within a strictly defined methodology and according processes.
The consultants core value is that he/she is able to spot workable and realistic solutions for Marketing requirements, and drive them from concept to development and deployment.
Skills and requirements:
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript (JQuery, JSON)
- PHP and JAVA Web development (LAMP and Tomcat)
- SQL
- Good understanding of multi-tier software architecture, WebServices
- SVN for source code management
- Using Windows as a working environment
- Wireframing with tools like Balsamiq, Visual Studio or similar
- Doing analysis and writing a technical specification for new requirements
Nice to have (in order of importance):
- Familiar with Oracle database management system
- Familiar with Spring and Hibernate for Java Web development
- Familiar with ASP and .NET as well as SQL Server
- Knowledge of Flex (Flash and ActionScript3)
