Our client who are global leaders in the manufacturing industry with 95 plants in 21 countries are looking to hire a contract IT Project Manager (Infrastructure) This is an exciting opportunity for the right contract to lead a new project. The key deliverables on this project include the design and implementation of a new desktop solution for the group and the design and implementation of a new unified communications capability across the group.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong project management experience; 5+ years of successfully leading IT projects in an organisation of 1000+ users or more through the full project management life cycle. A qualification of a formal pm methodology or equivalent is also desirable (eg. PMI, PMBOK, Prince2). Strong communication skills, experience of dealing with third party vendors and good budget management experience is a must. Previous experience in an IT Consultancy is also a benefit.
