UX Designer
We are seeking a passionate, innovative UX Design Lead who can help us push the envelope in what can be done with web, mobile, and social applications while retaining an elegant and simple user experience with the highest degree of usability. If you have a passion for user experience and believe that you can help us design and engineer class-leading products, we should talk. If words like user research, prototyping, visual design, and information architecture are a part of your life, we should talk. Our environment is agile and iterative, but we focus on what matters to the user and ignore the noise. If you are a UX Designer who is a closet UIE and likes to code in HTML, CSS, or Javascript, even better!
Your Responsibilities:
- You must tenaciously consolidate input from multiple stakeholders including product management, engineering, executive management and customers. You must be able to inspire and lead the design for these new user experiences. You find the balance between the ideal and practicality such as time to market.
- Designing/developing simple, efficient, eloquent, & intuitive UI's in a fast-paced environment that meet business objectives and provide a superior UX for online customers.
Your Qualifications/Experience:
- You have significant experience creating effective UX/UI designs on multiple platforms for the web (websites, mobile applications, etc).
- You have experience working with analysts and product owners to create user flows and wireframes for new features.
- You have experience working with developers to implement the design or can implement it yourself.
- You have experience planning and executing both redesign and new-concept design projects, from start to finish.
- You are passionate about creating a fantastic user experience on the web while being practical about what can be done in realistic timelines.
- You are a champion for the product and the users of that product.
- Your design is well thought out, purposeful and has intent.
- You must be passionate about what you do and obsessed with staying on top of UX/UI trends and tools.
- You have an extensive knowledge of web standards and best practices.
- You are as at home in design tools creating a design as you are in a text editor assisting developers author the quality HTML, CSS, and Javascript to implement that design.
- You look at the world around you, and see opportunities to improve the design and experience of everything.
- You collaborative well in a team environment and are great at communicating your designs and design intent to others.
