Our client, a leading Asset Management firm, currently seeks a Data Specialist, to be based in The Docklands.
The Data Specialist will be responsible for:
-Provide the main IOO point of contact on the Information Delivery Strategy Program
-Undertake all activity required on the data mart workstream
-Liaise with project team members in EMEA and NA to ensure successful delivery of the project within timescales
-Liaise with the wider business regarding data requirements and to understand data usage and flows
-Compile, review and challenge relevant project documentation as applicable
-Liaise with relevant global partners to supply relevant Management Information (MI) statistics where necessary
-Adhere to IOO project processes
As such, the successful Data Specialist will have the following skills and experience:
-Prior experience of working on a data mart/warehouse project
-Knowledge of investment management operations gained within an asset management environment, specifically around the understanding of data flows and usage
-Familiarity of data management/data governance principles and practices, ideally from working alongside business analysts or data architects;
-Business analysis/testing experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Pro-active approach with accuracy and attention to detail
-Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
-Proficient user of Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
