Title: Software Build Master

Type: Contract, 6 months

Location: Atlanta, GA 30339

Our client is seeking a Software Build Master for a 6 month contract position in Atlanta, GA. This role will be responsible for performing daily builds as per calendar schedules to various environments. The Software Build Master will also be responsible for designing and creating enterprise-wide build and deployment strategies. The ideal candidate will have cross-platform build & deployment knowledge and be able to triage build and deployment issues with help of Development, Tech Ops and Database (DB) Engineers.

Software Build Master Responsibilities:

  • Select, deploy, and improve the tools and processes for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Drive automation into the build and deployment of ASI applications.
  • Responsible for deployment Scripting and automation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with various teams for different environment builds & deployments.
  • Update and execute complex build & deployment scripts for all applications when required.
  • Prepare documentation and support Production Implementations during weekends.
  • 24 x 7 supports whenever requested.
  • Application & Web Deployments on Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, BizTalk, SharePoint, Tomcat, WebSphere, and other environments and tools. ASI uses Microsoft Servers and related technologies.
  • Plan and update weekly build calendars.
  • Design and create Microsoft PowerShell scripts and apply changes to scripts whenever required.
  • Use SubVersion for builds.
  • Run Build & Deployment using PowerShell scripts or other similar Scripting languages.
  • Automate builds & deployments using Hudson/Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI) or similar open source tools.
  • Coordinate with Development teams on SubVersion repository updates.
