Job Description:The groups are piloting a new set of services for web developers to provide access to new hardware features of Intel platforms. This project offers the opportunity to build and deploy web services using Ruby on Rails, access client hardware capabilities using HTML5 and native browser plugins, and connect the two into a service broadly available to web developers.
Writing and deploying web applications.
Setting up Servers.
Necessary skills:
-A qualified candidate
-Must have experience building and deploying web services using Ruby on Rails
-Must have experience with JavaScript and accessing web services, including cross-domain services, from JavaScript.
Good to have:
- Experience with large ruby on rails application and deployment
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools
- If the candidate can point to contributions on open source etc., that will be a big +.
