Currently, we are seeking a WebFOCUS Developer to join our team of professionals. Selected individual will design, develop, and deploy enterprise and business unit specific reports associated with the costs, resources and metrics for the project portfolio. This position involves closely working with the applications team, development team and business in order to develop WebFOCUS based reporting solution. The person should be expert in WebFOCUS 7.7.0.3. Have in-depth knowledge Business Intelligence solutions for customers. The person should also have complete life cycle SDLC exposure and should have worked using AGILE methodology, apart from a strong analytical aptitude. Knowledge of estimation and project planning is an added advantage. The person should have experience in working in global teams and should be technically strong.
WebFocus Developer Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development of WebFOCUS Reports, using WF IDE
- Work on various aspects of BI and Reporting, Middleware development, report caster, managed reporting.
- Small development Enhancement requests as assigned. Activities will include requirements analysis (determining the size and scope), development and testing.
- WebFOCUS integration with other tools sets like Flex, DOJO, JQuery.
WebFocus Experience and Qualifications
Personal Attributes
- Good oral and written skills.
- Should have strong analytical, presentation, documentation and reporting skills
- Should have decent exposure in working with global teams
- Knowledge of quality processes
- Worked on AGILE based project
Education/Relevant Experience:
- Engineering/BE
- 5+ years experience in WebFOCUS 7.7.0.2, HTML5, Javascript, AJAX
- Knowledge of Adobe FLEX, DOJO, JQuery
- Knowledge of Info Assist, Report Caster, WF Maintain
- Knowledge on DATAMART's and OLAP will be added advantage
