We are a small, active team developing Silverlight applications to serve the trade floor of a large Fixed Income investment manager. Strong programming skills with C#, WCF and XAML are central to the role. Should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with demanding clients, state-of-the-art technology and supporting critical trading functions. The ability to effectively collaborate with other teams responsible for the development of the financial models will enable success, so the ability to communicate clearly is essential and knowledge of the financial industry is very helpful. We are looking for a team oriented person that is self-motivated. One should possess the ability to deliver solutions quickly, while refactoring and improving them over time. Experience with the MVVM pattern, IIS administration, the Symphony grid product and C are beneficial as well. A four-year college degree is necessary.

Required
- 2 or more years of recent XAML experience (WPF and/or Silverlight)
- 2 or more years of recent WCF experience
- 5 or more years of recent C# version 3 and/or 4 experience
- BS degree in an engineering discipline strongly preferred, 4 year degree required
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Enthusiasm for learning and self-development
- Commitment to producing the best product in the available time

- Experience working with Fixed Income securities and/or callable bonds
- IIS 7.5 Administration
