Teamplayer. Ability to cooperate with the other syspro's and the DBA's within the team as well as with other teams, clients and vendors in projects.
Create implementation documents and other technical documentation.
Create clear workinstructions in order to transfer the work to others (f.i. IDC India), knowledge transfer.
Flexible. Ability to cope with changes in planning and priorities. Ability to work under (time) pressure. Quick learner (new environments).
Willing to work outside office hours (weekends and nights) for projects and changes.
Willing to be standby on a regular base
Technical skills:
At least 5 years provable and recent experience on Mainframe as a Systems Programmer.
Knowledge of ISPF, TSO, REXX, JCL, OPC and Mainview
Basic knowledge of SAS and Assembler is a plus
DB2 for z/OS.
Reasonable SQL knowledge.
Provable indepth knowledge and handson experience with DB2 9 (systems programming and system management)
Knowledge of DB2 10
Provable indepth knowledge and handson experience with CICS TS 3.2
Knowledge of CICS TS 4.2
Knowledge and experience with the installation and maintenance of software from third party vendors (CA and BMC)
Knowledge of either CICS, IMS and CA IDMS is a plus
