Description
Local government organisation based in Glasgow seeks an experienced Marketing and digital Communications Consultant to market the Smart Exporter services, with the international business community, partners and stakeholders and internally. The role additionally concerns promotion and alignment of online tools to serve the needs of internationalising companies. Due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate should have current security clearance to Disclosure Scotland Certificate/Baseline Personnel Security Standard level or above.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing support, including event support, public relations, advertising, collateral development, direct marketing and e-marketing
- Media campaign support
- Internal marketing
- External marketing
- Partnership activity eg Business Gateway
- Promotion and support for market awareness and introductory export events
- Promotion of an Online Modular Learning Programme and an Online Diagnostic determining company readiness for internationalisation and signposting to appropriate services
- Support for developing an online suite of Best Practice Learning Materials
- Content development for websites and links to partner resources
- Results oriented
Key Skills and Experience:
- Degree qualified and/or equivalent job experience
- Demonstrable track record in delivering on-line products and marketing
- Understanding best practice in online communication & social media
- Consistent cross channel content & messaging competence

Extra Information:
- This is initially a 10 months contract role with an option for further extension. Rate is £128-£183 per day.
