Our client is a well regarded IT and business consulting organisation and are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect/Data Modeller to join their team immediately in Sydney on a three month contract. To be considered for this role, you will have a considerable amount of experience in IT systems specification and design, delivering major business solutions for large corporates. It would be beneficial if you have experience in IT/business consulting.To be considered for this opportunity, you will have the following experience and knowledge:
Experience in Datamodelling (logical and phyical) and experience with UML would be beneficial
Experience in solution data design
Demonstrated experience in defining data requirements and business rules through logical data model design
Ability to liaise with all levels of management (up to Executive Level) to gain a detailed understanding of the use of business data in the business process
Good understanding of information management deliverables such as data requirements document, business and technical meta data dictionaries, source to target mapping
Good understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices
Experience in modelling tools eg ERWIN, Archimate, Rational
Strong Technical Analysis skills including gathering requirements, data scoping and profiling analysis, Datamodelling, mapping to models, Source to Target
Experience in Data Migration, Data quality Assessments
