We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Systems Security Consultant within SAP Environments; an opportunity to join a leading global IT & Management Consulting organisation in their enterprise security division and work at lead consultant level: providing cross-system security validation of SAP environments as well as supporting SAP Landscapes from a security and audit perspective and safeguarding the Internal Control Framework by controlling and advising on the processes.

Their Business Application Services Division is a thriving and growing business that works in partnership or on all Systems, Solutions and Enterprise programs; the Enterprise Security team is part of this major division and focuses on IT, Information, System and environment security projects and outsourced work.
As part of the continued expansion and increment we are assisting our client in the hire of a:
System Security Consultant on SAP Environments
This person will be responsible for Cross-System Security Validation of SAP environments, making use of specific tools (eg SAP GRC) and available SAP Security Tools and Services and safeguarding the Internal Control Framework by controlling and advising on the processes.
Duties:
- Manage & Drive security patching, vulnerability management process.
- Perform regular risk assessment for SAP environments.
- Set out appropriate actions based on outcome risk assessment.
- Drive setup of year planning for patching.
- Manages/oversee the execution of controls by Executors.
- Initiate projects to improve automating and/or harmonizing security monitoring/reporting.
- Advising of: Development Team; S&A Team; Service Providers; Application Change Management and Infrastructure & Operations teams.
Knowledge and Experience:
+ Knowledge of patch management and vulnerability management processes.
+ Knowledge of Vulnerability assessment and remediation planning and resolution.
+ Knowledge of business processes to a level that is required to assess the risk & impact of both the vulnerabilities and the offered solutions.
+ Expert knowledge of SAP GRC
+ Good Knowledge of SAP Basis
+ Good Knowledge of SAP Security
+ Experience of using and configuring:
- EWA - EarlyWatch Alert
- RSECNOTE - Security Notes Report
- SOS - Security Optimization Services
+ Preferred but not necessary: SAP Certified on NetWeaver 7.0
As well as the above we are seeking someone with excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability as this role will be working closely with clients of the organisation and a consultative approach will be expected.
