Summary of Role

To provide a full administrative support function to the project team which includes co-ordinating all communications, training and support activities. This is a new project due to start shortly in Derby and should run for a minimum of 6 months.

Scope
  • Co-ordinate the communication, training and support activities
  • Distribute user communications in line with the deployment schedule
  • Manage and monitor the shared mailbox, ensuring that users have a central point of contact during the project
  • Liaise with project team to co-ordinate training events and floor support in line with deployment
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of learning events
  • Set up and invite attendees to training events
  • Book rooms and facilities
  • Issue attendance lists to the trainers prior to the scheduled events
  • Manage changes to the bookings and update the training schedule accordingly
  • Monitor attendance and completion of training
  • Prepare, co-ordinate and maintain floorwalking schedule
  • Issue floorwalking schedules to trainers on a daily basis
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly reports for the Training Project Manager
  • Escalate Requests for Change to the Training Project Manager
  • Collate, analyse and feedback on post project evaluation
Skills Required
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (2007 or 2010)
  • Strong, previous administrative experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Be able to work on own initiative
