Technical Architect/Software Engineer
Our client in Norway is currently looking for an OSS System Architect who will drive the Network Management Systems functional and detailed design, including vendor selection. This role is also responsible for aligning technical roadmap and capability, ensuring compliance with user-based requirements and service offerings.
The OSS System Architect should possess knowledge of as many of the below as possible:
IBM Tivoli/Netcool
VMware (Virtual Machine creation, configuration and verification of HA function, Network support server install and configuration)
EMC products/SAN storage solutions
F5 Load Balancing Switches
MS Server admin
Linux admin
Oracle DB
The OSS System architect will need to have:
Required Technical experience is as follows:
- Experience of documenting detailed architectures
- Defining/building end to end architecture solutions for large scale platform projects
- A good understanding of network topologies
- Exposure to operational hardware environments within large scale distributed deployments
- Experience creating scalable architectures
- Individual must also be proficient with Visio and MS Office tools
- Sound experience obtained within a complex telecoms environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and/or functional areas.
- Must have an analytical thought process and a diligent attention to detail.
- Ability to provide analysis, design, build, testing, cutover, support and maintenance activities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
